Sore foot. Options

This seems a very minor problem when so many of you have a lot worse. On the top of my foot i have a vein that stands out and a bit swollen ,its really painfull . I keep getting a really hard stabbing pain .
Does anyone know is this is the RA, Just wondered because i am not bad with pain elsewere at the moment .

I've not experienced this but I wonder if it's some sort of varicose vein? Definitely needs looking at I think.

ThumpUp I made an appointment for Monday with the doctor but thankfully the vein has settled down. Its not sore at all today.
